I was with Zen but for £25 and 20GB a month, it was a joke. Now with Sky and getting 15.3Mbps with no cap but a FUP of 250GB a month - dead happy as I get Sky + broadband + free phone calls for the same price I paid Zen just for 20GB at 8Mbps.

So look at BE then Sky then Eclipse.
Mac Sys Data/Persistence Of Vision

Instructions said to install Windows 2000 or better so I installed Fedora.

BT look the best deal, sky have a 40gb limit I think, though ive looked at that many might have got mixed up, but BT has the best deal it seems.

Demon still wont let use leave, so going to get a MAC code form them, force us off thier network onto probably BT, at least its got them off our line.

I've reported them to watchdog, but wont do any good, the USA have the BBB which is really good, but they are not over in the UK :-(

will wait for demon to take us to court over it, if it comes to that I have all the emails to defend us, we are 100% in the right even obayed the contract terms exactly, its all them, so actually hope they do take us to court, the judge will laugh his head off on how pathetic they are :)

Yeah?

Virgin's lowest tariff is only £10 a month. Add a small additional cost to purchase some extra hardware (Dreambox + 3 extra NTL 250 cable modems). Leaves you with broadband (upto 80Mbit) and ALL the digital cable TV channels for £10 pcm ;)

Research and Educational purposes only of course.

Ah well .. never took it quite that far. Rarely watch TV these days so make do with my Freeview & h/disk recorder combo. Paying Virgin £35 a month was a "necessary" indulgence for a variety of nefarious ways :)

Surely 80mb is only available in the Scandinavian countries (as usual). That's if it's even been invented for home use yet. The rest of us have to suffer on 30mb or less.
