Sleepwalker

Postby sprite » Sat Nov 12, 2005 1:24 am

Hi there!

Does someone have the working version of Sleepwalker.

I have the DB140A, B and C files, but there is a bug in the game.
On the first level, in the sewer there is a barrel missing, that should be floating on the water. Pretty damn hard to make it with out it :)

So if someone have a working version of it, i would realy appreciate a link or two :)

Sleepwalker is also available on:

Superior 134 A,B and C.
or
Vectronix 301, 302 and 303.

You can get these from the AL FTP, or if you can't for some reason then PM me your E-Mail address and I will send them.
I cannot guarantee that any of these will be without the same bug, obviously.

AFAIK there is as yet no PASTI (hi Ijor ) image of this one avaiable yet, and the TOSEC collection also does not yet have this one (hi Keili  ).

No probs Sprite.

this is a 1 meg RAM and STE only game.
The Superior Version is cracked by "the Cynix", and is Hard Disk installable, it also has a trainer.
The Vectronix Version is (also?) cracked by "Cynix" :? , but is different in that it does not appear to be HDD installable or trained.

Keili, I do not have that game in the TOSEC games collection I have here (not sure what version but it is about 1.3 gig in size and contains about 3500 images....
I will wait for the next TOSEC release then :)

And if you would like any of these versions Keili, then refresh my memory as to your E-Mail and I will send them off..

the barrel missing is a sign of copy protection failure,

the copylock embedded hasn't been cracked properly, a needed value
to display the barrel hasn't been triggered ^^.

The amiga version has suffered the same problem ^^, just as the game
hook, which had some beer chop missing causing the game to be unfinishable.

Retrogamer, can you clarify? What is the version without the missing barrel bug?

Sorry nobogod, I merely happen to have a good list of games detailing their relevant menu disks (which I also have many of and can therefore test them), I have no idea what this barrel bug is about, sounds like a Jet Set Willy style problem to me
