copying autoboot disk

advice for newbie if poss...picked up a stfm package few months ago..about 200 assorted disks with it..some of the games come up with the text..pompey pirates..and there are 2_3 games on some disks...only found one game I love..would like to backup the disk...tried f.copy...wont copy...says it an autoboot disk...is there a way to copy it...its lode runner that is on disk...thanks

You'll need to turn "Disk def" off and manually select the number of sides and sectors. Usually it was 80 tracks (0-79) , 2 sides and 10 sectors, but it may only be 9 sectors (or even 11) and/or 1 side depending on the particular disk.

The Pompey Pirates often placed some remark on their menus such as "Copy 80/2/10" or the like...

thanks for help..did manage ,with fcopy 3 , some text mentioned menu 29 on disk..another disk,came up, number 1, happy tho I backed up loderunner...
