I was able to recover DOODLE.RCS file of the DISK_2.
I found a utility STCREATE.C on the same disk, also corrupted, but I somehow managed to figure out the missing parts of the code, also corrected some pointer checking errors in the original.
I run this utility on DOODRSC.C file, containg application resource definitions, encoded in C structures. This file was not corrupted.
In the end I got DOODLE.RCS reconstructed.
I had to learn to run Alcyon C, which is 3 pass compiler that compiles to assembly code, so the last step to get an object file is to run an assembler.
All 4 steps are automated by a batch, C.BAT - user can run by clicking a batch interpreter BATCH.TTP, from GEM.
To compile STCREATE.C utility program, one would then type,
The compilation ends by a quite funny message,
