HxC Floppy Emulator and UltraSatan

Is anybody running both HxC Floppy Emulator and UltraSatan on the same box?

In theory there should be no problem but it would be nice to know this is borne out in practice.

One is a hard drive and the other is a floppy drive. In my mind they are in no way connected.

Not quite sure why you'd want an UltraSatan though...

I have both. I got the US first. And then it was suggested to me that it wouldn't be best options for games as they look to A: So I have the US for programming and FirstWordPlus and then I will use the Emulator for games.

All I wanted to know was did anybody foresee a problem that is all.

Cheers! Nobody had mentioned it here before. And I didn't dare presume.

When I got my STFM down from the loft I looked forward to using floppies again. When I worked in IT I used them long after I didn't really need to. And I even removed the card reader from our Dell tower and replaced it with a Sony 3.5 drive to move files back and forth from Atari to the outside world. Oddly enough that Sony drive cost as much as the first 5.25 diskette I ever bought.

But now everytime I slide a disk into my STe and it crunches and grinds away I just think it's going to fail, it's going to fail, IT'S GOING TO FAIL!!!! Sad really.

LOL.... my Falcon with the HxC SD floppy emulator, CT63 with CTPCI and new IDE port have the ATI graphic card, HDD and an ATX PSU sticking out of the case looks more like a hyper cyborg Frankenstein's monster

I run both on my MSTE. I use the UltraSatan for desktop apps and HD-patched games while the HxC runs disk images that aren't available as HD-patched games (or for demos and old menus that I like to see again... PP73 is still my favourite especially the music!)
