How to extract executeable files from .atr images?

Postby Clark Kent » Tue Feb 21, 2012 4:27 pm

Can somebody tell me how to extract single programs from .atr Atari 800 images? Is there a Windows program available for that task or any other method?

Thanx for any info!

Perhaps Total Commander helps?
http://www.ghisler.com/

The ATR plugin to Total Commander
http://en.totalcmd.pl/download/wcx/emu/Atari_ATR

Now you can browse every ATR image like a regular zip file and unpack every single file.

The best is that you get the best file manager in the universe at the same time. ;)

Thanx! :)

Edit: I just found out that with the Atari 800 emulator "Atari800" you can also extract files from the .atr-images with the menu option "Edit an .atr Disk Image"...
