Another new Kryoflux owner :)

Post all your Kryoflux related topics in here. From questions about the hardware through to disks you've managed to image up and, probably most importantly, write back without any problems :)

Another new Kryoflux owner :)

a few weeks back me and .GND (coder in our demo group) were chatting about moving disks about various systems and we got onto the subject of kryoflux which he hadn't come across before. A short decision later and we decided to go halves on one :) it turned up a few days ago and GND fitted it into an old SCSI box that was no longer being used:

it now has a newer drive in it, which seems a lot more stable, the software reports that it's staying at pretty much dead on 300 RPM when reading and writing :)

we spent a few hours yesterday writing amiga demo disk images to watch on a real amiga, just to test it all works ok, and it does :)

I'm going to grab my big box of atari original disks and get imaging this week :)

Done a load in August but not uploaded them anywhere as of yet.
Can you write hack the dumps you've made or do you have to send them off and then wait?
