Steem SSE 3.3.0 Command line

Postby sprudel » Mon Aug 13, 2012 10:23 pm

Hi all!
Thanks for your great efforts in updating the great Steem emulator!
I have a question because I have tried today the Steem SSE 3.3.0 release:
In Steem 3.2 I was used to pass an ST image as a command line parameter. Now, with the 3.3 release, this doesn't seem to work anymore.
E.g. I started it like this
D:\Steem\Steem.exe d:\steem\games\Gods.st

In the old version, the game started automatically. Now, the disk hasn't been inserted at all.

Any hints?

Thanks a lot for your help.
Rgds,
Sprudel

Thx for reporting this.
It will not work in this version because it's compiled with VC6 and some code was missing someplace:

Code: Select all

  _argc=__argc;
  _argv=__argv;

Typical compatibility problem. Borland used _argc, M$ __argc. Argh! :D
It will be fixed in v.3.4.

Edit:
Even, better, save space (for once):

Code: Select all

#define _argc __argc
#define _argv __argv
In the CIA we learned that ST ruled
