Slow/choppy response from Bash

Postby tordj » Mon Jun 01, 2015 6:37 am

Hi,

I'm having a problem with the output in Bash getting stalled for a second or so at a time. This is most evident when I've typed some text and then hold backspace to erase it all. The text disappears in steps of approximately 10 characters at a time.

Is there any way to get around this? It makes it really awkward to use terminal programs to get some work done.

I have a clean EasyMint install, but had the same problem with the software that my FireBee came preinstalled with. Is this an AES issue or what are we dealing with? Would it help to upgrade or replace XaAES with MyAES or something else?

Hey,

I dont have such a problem. i also have sort of EasyMiNT install but I replaced old binnaries with the one Vincent provided on his page. Bash works as it should. But as you think problem could be something else. Yes try with MyAES and see if problem still exists? Try to run your setup without accessories and only programs in Auto folder as you need.

Hi,

I don't have this issue on my EasyMint type setup neither.
Do you use bash and mint CF binaries from Vincent Riviere?
If not, you should give a try, it may solve your problem.
