My coding ManCave

Postby COTAFAJ » Tue Mar 05, 2013 4:24 pm

Not as fancy since I moved to an apartment but it keeps me busy. So...after many years in coding hiatus I decided it was time again. Just a little background...back in 1985 I was asked to create a database program for, what was gong to be, an electronic yellow page service. At the time, the options were Apple, 386, and the new Atari ST. The GEM interface seemed perfect. The company bought several ST's and 20 meg external drives. I used Mark Williams C and created the application, blah, blah, blah. I became a registered developer with Atari and also started a project on the Amiga. I was already a registered developer with Commodore and they sent me a Commodore 128 system earlier for evaluation. I didn't do programming as a living, but I was self taught and good enough for projects I was involved in. I started coding in assembler and fooled around with it on the Falcon in 1991 and Amiga 2000. After the mid 90's, I sold my stuff and moved on to the Sony Yaroze and became a registered developer in that program. Due to lack of time and family I eventually phased it out of my life. I owned a few Falcon's over the years. I had the Stubulator dev kit. So...long story short, over the last year or 2 started coding on the Xbox 360 using Visual Studio. I wrote a small platformer and started to grow my programming interest again. So now, with my Falcon and Jag with the Skunkboard, I want to start coding in assembler again. This time, I will produce something that hopefully, others will use or say "hey...that's pretty goddamn good"
