Gotek Vs. HD 1.44 images

Postby docrv » Mon May 20, 2019 12:20 pm

Hi guys,

I need more space on my virtual floppies than the standard 700/800Ko
After reading, digging, searching, I just can't get my Gotek working with HD 1.44 images created with Hatari.

I have an atari STe
Gotek installed internally
E6 jumper soldered on my motherboard (allow HD, partially)
FlashFloppy firmware 1.2 or 2.9A (latest version)

FF.CFG
interface = shugart
host = unspecified

I tried to max-out values in IMG.CFG
# Mandatory: Number of cylinders (1-254).
cyls = 254
# Mandatory: Number of sectors per track (1-256).
secs = 256

I kept Bytes per sector by default
# Mandatory: Bytes per sector (128, 256, 512, 1024, 2048, 4096, 8192).
bps = 512

Any idea ?

Thanks for your help.

You can create a special HFE images for DSDD drives, up to 3,42MB using a HxC Floppy Emulator Software.
