RIP Des AKA Juggler from the PP

I have some sad news about my uncle Des, who was a core member of the Pompey pirates.

He passed away Friday at his home in Canada suddenly after being told a week before that he had stomach cancer.

He was my hero when growing up in the 80's and 90's.

Just thought I would pass this sad news on to anyone on here that knew him.

My condolences to you and your family.

He was to me, and other forum visitors, a regular name on many a scrolltext / compact disk during our formative ST years.

I will always remember him as someone who brought a lot to the Compact Disk scene...

My condolences, many a great hour was spent playing games on PP disks!
Atari 8Bits: 800xl, 600xl, XEGS, 800, 130xe, 130xe (VBXE, U1MB, Stereo POKEY)

Just reading the name with which he participated in that time takes me to wonderful times, when we waited anxiously for the next "menu".
Every time we lose a member of the Atarian community it makes me think how old we are.
