STOS, COMPILER, GAMES GALORE, ETC

Postby Goldrunner » Tue Feb 14, 2006 12:30 pm

Does anybody have original copies of the following:

STOS - The Games Creator
STOS - Compiler
STOS - 3D
STOS - Sprites 600
STOS - Maestro
STOS - Maestro Plus
STOS - TOME

If you do and can make pasti images of any of them it would be a great help in preserving them in GamebaseST. If anyone can help please let me know by posting here, email, or by PM. Many thanks in advance!

Mods, please don't move this to Applications since it is game releated :D

There's a guide inside the Pasti section of the forum.

Run Pasti on your ST, with a large RAMDisk handy if you haven't got a h/drive.

Copy the Pasti images across to your PC and upload here.
Having sold 99.9% of my 1300+ collection of originals, I'm taking a bit of a back seat on the forum. I'll still do the front-of-house admin tasks as and when they're required but, for now, I'm enjoying my Xbox 360 time too much :)

Why? The transfer disk way works well too -esp. if your ST has no 4MB for the RAMDISK.

Pasti images are well over 1MB in size most of the time!

Goldrunner .. it's a picture from my mobile phone of a coaster that Heavy Stylus sent me! He found it in a recycling centre :) Full size pics are on my blog.

All I need now is a "UK" in a similar style and someone with a welder :)

Or, if he finds another one, maybe I can get a solid silver chain welded onto it and I can wear it around my neck :)

Hi Goldrunner,

These images are taken from my original STOS Game creator I bought in 1989.

The boot sector message was put by an antivirus (sagrotan if my memory is good) when I have checked my floppies to find the [censored] ghost virus.
