Re: Updated GFA-BASIC Library released

I'm in the process of moving to a new location. My site has moved.

New: http://gfa.atari-users.net/atari/
Gone: http://www.bright.net/~gfabasic/

Some links may be broken, sorry about that. Will have to fix them later.

My bright.net account will be shut off soon.

Thanks for the update Lonny.

Can't speak for everyone else but I certainly do appreciate your continued

For those that still enjoy coding in GFA, some new built-in stuff for 2019.
MiNT socket API, LDG API, STiK API, and more

GBE/GFA 3.7 beta is available at my google drive:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... U02aXU2cXM

Happy New Year!

Happy 2019 to you too :-D

Ok ppl, don't let the modest advertising fool you - this is a *massive* upgrade! (in case you haven't been following the GFA dev closely and stayed on the cutting edge with previous beta builds, of course)

The new GFA-suite (GBE+libraries+linker+compiler) has progressed massively over the last 1-2 years, with >300 new commands added. Loads of system calls are now natively supported without the need for bindings, and a significant number of nifty commands and functions are new as well. And yes, now you can even write STiK or MiNTnet clients without having to mess around with bindings, the necessary functions are already present, ready to be used. The only thing bigger than the list of changes is the brutal commitment, skills and amount of time put into making it all happen!

Thanks for the superhuman effort Lp

Thanks for the kind words and for the testing you have done and still do. Your input on some of the new stuff was extremely helpful.

Wow! Awesome work! GFA Basic was the first software I bought for my ST (except for some games) and I used it a lot before switching to assembler. I have very fond memories of it and it makes me really happy to see how much you care for it Lonny.
Daniel, New Beat - http://newbeat.atari.org. Like demos? Have a look at our new Falcon030 demo MORE.
