Display a picture and play music in GFA or ASM

Postby Sturm » Sun Oct 01, 2017 4:49 pm

Hello, i would like to make a small program for my Falcon, which could display a picture and play a music file at the same time, mp2, mod, or snd.

I tried LCK, but there is no option for mp2 or such files.

Anyone could tell me how to do that? Either with devpac or GFA, but please keep in mind i'm a noob at programming :-)

Thank you

There is a GFA BASIC group on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/gfabasic/) and/or you can find all kinds of Falcon source code within the GGN archives that are on GitHub (https://github.com/ggnkua/Atari_ST_Sources).
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk
