There doesn't seem to be standalone CT60 TOS version. Is there some easy way to extract it from ct60tos.bin file, so that I can try using it?

ct60tos.bin is as standalone as it gets. ;-) It's a merge between the classic 512k image and additional stuff. So there are calls to the 'other half', you can't just dissect it.

So it would be good to figure out if its a problem with our symbol table generation or a problem with Hatari symbol reading. You might be able to tell whats going on there.

Hatari supports only DRI/GST binary symbol tables. You can test them by using Hatari's external symbol handling program, it works exactly like Hatari debugger "symbols" command.

Thorsten Otto provided patches for a.out symbol tables support, so the Mercurial version of Hatari reads also them. Do those work any better?

Hi Doug, hope you're well.
Any news on the 0.38 version of BM? I see 0.37 is still on your site. I checked the files and smiled as I saw the build time for 0.37 ...2:50am!
No rush, just thought I would mention it as we're coming up to Christmas and some of us may have time to spare for important tasks like BadMooD :D
Cheers

I just want to say, that I finally installed BadMood on my Falcon 030.

Using the pre-build BMC caches for the Ultra Doom Wad helped a lot.

But I have to say that handling (including transfer from a PC) about 80MB of nearly 2000 files on these old machines is a pain :)
Zipping, unzipping, copy, delete ...

NetUSBee is your friend! Lotharek still sells them, as far as I know.

NetUSBee was my friend indeed. But uIP-Tool is like 8O when you drag and drop a Folder with 2.000 files in it ... and then crashes.
So STZip was my second best friend

Ha, I think I just used wget through MiNT directly to fetch the zip files. Or maybe it was FTP from my NAS. Either way, Doom on the Falcon runs AWESOME.

What prevents you from zipping everything together, transferring one file and unzipping it?

I transfered the main folder of badmood and then every single BMC sub folder as ZIP. Why? I tried to put everything in one zip, but this was too much for STZip. The program chrashed several times and so I decided to slpit the transfer.

Yes, STzip is source of many troubles...
It was not so obivious with small files back in 90s but today it show it's own age.

I think I tend to use unzip from bash under MiNT. It's been a while since I set it up though.

Yep, unzip.ttp is way to go.
