What to do with incorrect infos in WIKI ?

I saw years ago it - then did nothing, except added some new pages. But I again visited some pages there. Namely: there are some incorrect informations about MAKEDISK, wdfcopy and their usage under XP - just 2 examples. I even don't see who posted it. I don't like to delete stuff, but in this case it would be necessary to save users from stoopid nerving and similar . Concrete: there stays that is possible to image 800 K floppies. But is not correct, because Windows XP driver allows it not. It is the reason why we need Simon Owens fdrawcmd.
I ask for advice: what to do ? How to correct those pages ?
Myself would just delete completely pages abouf wdfcopy - that program is obsolete and pretty useless. And correct about how to use Makedisk under XP - in fact not to use at all :D Or boot floppy in hands

Hmmm, I think that the philosophy of the wikis is that everybody with knowledge may update it (if it is allowed), so ... :-)

However, check with the admins

Wiki pages are not allowed to be deleted by users like us.
We can only update them - change the information.
There in a mechanism to revert back any changes as it keeps a record of the diff.
So any nonsense can be rolled back.

As no pages can be deleted, the best is just to correct the information by changing the content.
But of course, you can delete the contents  .... all of them.
Only you cannot delete a page.

Yes please - go ahead and change anything that's technically wrong. Anyone with a forum account may edit article in the wiki on grounds of technical or grammatical inaccuracies.

Yeah. And it is what I see as sword with 2 blades :D Will knowledge prevail, or persistence in editing  Just kidding ... Hopefully, nobody will now even think about recommending wdfcopy . I even mailed programer of it, some 5 years ago and talked about problems with XP floppy driver. But he was not able for some decent talk, and just complained on everything and everybody - starting from Microsoft, that they asked him to remove 'Window' from prg. name, then Atari people and their critics about that prg.
