OK this isn't my code and it's also for the PC (with Pure BASIC) but it's very easy to adapt - and I will be doing so once time permits (the age old excuse!)
The example is for the Faery Tale Adventure but once you've built your GUI using PB's wonderful designer, it's fairly easy to adapt the remaining source to point to the bits you want to change in the saved game file.
Found inside the HUGI #33 disk magazine (also on the PC) with some articles inside it from well known people on here http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=30508

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk
