OK this isn't my code and it's also for the PC (with Pure BASIC) but it's very easy to adapt - and I will be doing so once time permits (the age old excuse!)
The example is for the Faery Tale Adventure but once you've built your GUI using PB's wonderful designer, it's fairly easy to adapt the remaining source to point to the bits you want to change in the saved game file.
