212650 lvl 17
Maybe there is a hidden protection or i don't understand this level because the time is not enough for reach the end !
It's strange...

I can assure it's got nothing to do with the protection - just checked this. ;-)
But you're right. Even when you stomp on the 'Timer Stop' can there's about 1 second time missing to complete the level. Strange... perhaps the mine fields are the key?

The tears are welling in my eyes again, I need twenty big buckets to catch them in, twenty pretty girls to carry them down, twenty deep holes to bury them in.

Yes i think that is the only solution, but i can't do it.
I don't jump on it like on arcade, i will try again and again.

Did you check the original Namco arcade videos on YouTube? They have more levels than the ST version (32 instead of 24).

Anyway, I've just had a look at two other cracked versions of Metro-Cross (just to see if there was any corruption on level 17 data on the original I used for cracking) and level 17 is the same on all of them.

So either there is some yet unknown trick to complete this level on the ST or the developer's quality assurance department didn't bother to check this level. :-)

Well, in any case it would be easy to 'fix' this issue by simply adding one more second to the time allowed... ;-)

yes ;)

Ok i understand now :)

Thank you for your help Klapauzius ;)
In fact there is no bug because i found the solution or almost...
We can accelerate the scrolling at jump on the mine fields without fall !
But i don't say how i arrived at this manipulation because it does work one time out of ten !?
I believe we need the manual
