Hatari path problems

Postby tolkien » Fri Feb 10, 2017 4:20 pm

Hello mates.
I have ported this great emu (2.0 version) to Morphos (an AmigaOS variant) and seems it works good but I have a problem.
When I try to change something in the prefs gui I see all paths duplicated.
I mean, if I want to save the prefs file I see the path in the requester like: save prefs to: «work/hatari/work/hatari/work....»
That happends with all paths.
I can take a grab tonight to see better.

The question is: any idea where to start to look at?

Thanks in advance!

Sounds weird, I haven't heard anyone else having a bug like that. Just in case, could you try latest Hatari sources from Mercurial? One path string handling bug was fixed after 2.0.

(There are also significant compatibility improvements in Falcon emulation, but that's way too heavy for any of the Amiga related machines, as my 3Ghz i3 is too slow to run WinUAE CPU core + DSP emulation at native Falcon speed.)

Thanks. Will try this weekend. I think I have to replaace some posix functions that read directories etc etc..
And yes, our hardware is a bit limited perhaps, but who cares? :)

There are some ifdefs in Hatari sources for __AMIGAOS4__. If you need to do additional changes, mail your diff to hatari-devel and we check whether it can be applied to Hatari.
