Bitbopper for Falcon won't launch

Postby takashi » Sat Apr 14, 2012 3:38 pm

I have a problem running BitBopper for Falcon, the program exits with a dialog "GDOS not active!".
In the stderr.txt, these lines are added ;

GEMDOS Fsnext(): Error setting DTA.
GEMDOS Fsnext(): Error setting DTA.

Does it mean anything to anyone? Any help appreciated.

The bitbopper is a commercial video synth software I used to play in clubs in 90s was sold for 800$ or so but became a freeware in the last decade. You can get it from following;
ftp://kurobox.serveftp.net:3021/falcon/ ... bopper.zip

Cheers,

Takashi

Maybe put SPDGDOS.PRG in this archive to folder AUTO in your partition C.
Probably the program needs a driver of polices as SpeedoGDOS (or NVDI) installed on your HD.

Thanks for suggestion, I tried it but didn't work. I remember it used to work on a falcon without speed gdos, NVID and such. Thanks again.
