Blank Screen Problem

I am trying to run Hatari on a ps3 with linux. It is installed by default with the ydl distribution. When i run the program all I get is the blank screen that an st would show before it boots into gem. I have tried changing the tos.img supplied to 2.06 - I get a similar problem except the white screen now has two ST bombs on it. Does anyone know what is causing this?

Can you give some more details? Which version of Hatari is it? What exact configuration did you use? Do you already have a ~/.hatari/hatari.cfg file that contains these configuration settings? Do you know which version of GCC is used on your YDL distribution (there were some problems with GCC 4.1 on PowerPC based machines, if that's the case, try to turn off the "Slower but more compatible" setting in the "System" setup dialog)?

Thanks for the reply. Turning off the slower but more compatible setting solved the problem. I am running v 1. 0.1 and it is GCC 4.1.2
