Are all those Infocom boxes needed? Or you mean all the bits on the inside of it too?
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

I don't know... that's why I'm asking. Wasn't Advfan putting together a list? I know there are a lot of boxes that are needed.
Edit: Here's the list - download/file.php?id=15657 it seems that for almost any game on this list there's the box, disk and manual scan missing (and dump, obviously). If I'm wrong please speak up, people.
Just sort for Sierra and Infocom entries in the file. I hope that will help and be fruitful, since Advfan sure put a lot of energy into this file.
Edit 2: Just checked on Atarimania. Basically every Infocom title is missing dump, disk, box and manual. But that doesn't mean Atarimania doesn't have it.

Edit 3: Comparing Advfan's list to the auction that would be:

Spellbreaker, Seastalker, Moonmist

Boxes and everything inside.

I hope that's correct. Could anyone recheck, please?

If I understand the silence in this thread right, let me sadly conclude this with a quote:
Much ado about nothing. Let's move on.

By the way, congrats to Atarimania for the 1700th dump and the great scanning work that has been done over the last weeks (a lot of huge manuals have found their ways to Atarimania - thanks Marakatti, I guess) with more to come (thanks Jake for the scan of a Powerpack 1 box).

Unfortunately a lot of the Infocom stuff has already been sold on GameGavel and the buyer is interested in all the medium to large boxes that Attic Bug have. Once the deal is done, I'll get him to get in touch with you guys - unless he/she is already part of Atarimania?

Unfortunately timing isn't the best possible for this at the moment at least from my side... I think we need more time for lists like these. The fact that Mug started to sell the games came with too short notice for us to react. So unfortunately this is a missed opportunity, but can't help it from my side :(

Been busy with the other things lately. So much to do in the garden, painting the house, fixing it's foundation and all sort of things that can only be done with good weather. Plus I've been spending too much time in the garage lately finding and modifying rear wing for my Eclipse, doing the lowering and finetuning things here and there.... Summer is so short here so need to get best out of it, spend time with kids and so on

Fortunately most of the house and car-projects are close to finish which means more time for Atari within couple of weeks again :)

Thanks for the congratulations, but to be honest the thanks must go to Franck who has done amazing job with all the stuff lately, I've just uploaded some pasti-files when I had free time...

So apologies to everyone who has been waiting to see more new stuff. Things should be back on track soon again :)

New idea for Atarimania:
Original source codes (with annotations by the developers etc.). What do you think guys, would it be possible to offer them? Some of them are nowadays freely available and scattered all around the place. Would it be a lot of work offering them next to the original dump? It'd be nice from a historical point of view.
Check out this thread where there are already a few of them available.

The idea is great. Only problem is that majority of our ST members are sleeping. There are only two active at the moment which makes it veeeery slow for anything to appear and we have hands full already. But in the future, sure :)

Well, not really sleeping. :D

Just a combination of work, holidays and other issues. I hope to become more active again after July 15th.

Marakatti : I've seen "Loom" (French) was on aTaRiMaNia 8) . I suppose you also received/took the English STX by Jake :D .

The German version can be found @ PLaNeTeMu in ST/MSA format ...

...BUT...

if somebody have the scans of the protection sheet, it will be 8).

["For my curiousity, I'm interested in having a look at the three versions  "]

 for all & have a nice w.e. !

Have a nice holidays, looking forward to see the translation. I'm sure it's one of the big hits for ST this year :)

I'll see if something can be "improved" : Easy Rided *.S is good to extract all sentences, for the code it's a true mess :) . I have to play/patch under debugger 8) .

Luckily I've found the solution on an Amiga Website ...

http://amigaventure.free.fr/soluce_shortgrey.htm

So, no troubles to play & test the whole in French at first (from my side STeem only :( - different TOSes tests at least).

 AND as this is a collaboration job, we'll see together for a "common hacking" intro  .

Let me know when the English is ready to be tested (as in the translation) like we did for Black Sect.
