Played Poker Square quite a bit last night, it's a nice little game. Ended up with getting a top-five score, but as I know very little about high scoring poker hands I can't help but think that it was mostly down to luck(!)

Anyway, keep up the good work.

The possible hands are listed in the instructions screen. Cooper did a good job at the animated game rules :)

Good music, but two points of concern:

-Why won't the poker craze just die already?
-What do the Super Mario World graphics on the title screen have to do with poker anyway? When I booted it up, I assumed the whole thing would have some sort of Mario theme.

Anyway, It's probably my least favourite game from you guys (I hate cards) and I'll never play it again, but I like what you do. Keep up the good work. I hope to see ST releases from you guys well into 2007 at least!

Poker is a classic game that will never die. Liking it or not is down to personal opinion.

The game *does* have a console-game theme (the menu background graphics are ripped from a snes game, and the music and animations are all far more consoley than other card games).

I'm aware of poker being a classic game and all that. So is blackjack, solitaire, and even go-fish. But I'm talking about that damn fad! At least in North America, you can't take two steps without "POKER!" being shoved in your face.

Anyway, I'm glad you like my honesty I guess. I hope to see a non-poker themed release soon!

'I used to like poker, well a certain kind until those g0d damn b#$%£s took all my ca$h and left me freezing without my pants, that's not how it was 'sposed to work!'

so I just ripped the PI1's instead ;-)

Haha I've played the same thing when I was younger MiggyMog and the same happened to me. Although no money changed hands!

Nice game Simon! It's definitely got that 'one more go' factor. It's cost me an hours extra kip tonight!

It always seems to give me cards that screw me over, is it random? I doubt it  .

Oh, by the way, I like the style of the main screen etc, and it really bums me out that someone can be so negative about people who are still producing games for our beloved machine! Still, free speech and all that.

Keep up the good work!

Reading seems to be a major inability: I wasn't involved at all with this game, I just did announce its release :)

But thanks for feedback! We appreciate any sort of feedback! :D

I enjoyed it .. not tried it on my TT as of yet but I'll get around to it eventually :)

I was being negative to you people?

I thought I was just expressing my personal taste about poker.

Anyway, in case it wasn't clear (I'm assuming that jazzmaverick is talking about me), keep up the good work. Like I said in my earlier post, I like what you guys do! I play Znax about twice a week! Now that game is style.
