I've tried the STX(s) under STeem -> don't run.

That game has already been cracked before by No limits. You can give it a try though, the more cracks the better!

Could you post the No Limits crack you have?

BAT 2 French can easily be cracked, there's many checks all around the game (many fixes to do so many hours too ).

The cartridge isn't needed for sound output. It just serves for tests.

If the checks fails, it goes wrong adresses (and not only one...).

Ahem also, disk format is 2 sides 79 tracks 10 sectors

hello,

the game is checking for a hardware dongle plugged in MODEM port on ST.

if FAILED, the screen goes blue ^^ !

on the amiga, i have found the check routine, which i badly obliterated.

the game work great now, i didn't had any bad comment on protection

triggered later in the game.

BAT 2 ST use 81 tracks, on 10-11 sectors, 2 sides.

when imaging it goes to track 81...

it doesn't use copylock as far as i know, but i can be wrong here....

REQ: Time Soldiers and Gauntlet Pasti images. The Time Soldiers or Time Soldier on Planet Emulattion is fubar and so is Gauntlet on Planet Emulation.

Now if I only had the software to right back the images. Not many people own a Happy Discovery Cartridge to right back the images to a floppy disk for that Atari ST. So it almost really is'nt needed. I'd like to save the disk image(s) to my pc to and put the games on a cd and if a disk went bad from my Atari ST collection iI could write back with Happy Discovery Cartridege. I guess Ijor is still working on writing back the images. Just have too be patient and wait.

So you can write PASTI images (.STX) to a real disk with the Discovery Cart? How?

So you can write PASTI images (.STX) to a real disk with the Discovery Cart? How?

ijor mentioned it could be done with proper software and a Happy Discovery Cartridge for Atari ST or a Catweasel for PC, just look in the Pasti forum and you can read it for yourself.
