The guys at Atari Legend have this game, but thanks

BTW have you got any other games in your collection.

Hey there! It's nice to be back among the Atari community. :D

Anyway, I do have quite a few games in my collection, but after browsing through the various gigantic menu disk databases on the Internet, it looks like you all probably have most of them.

However, I do have tons and tons of little-known public domain and shareware games that you may not have. I am going to put together a list of all my ST software and upload it eventually...Hopefully I'll have something there that you'll be interested in.

Also, I still have manuals for over 100 games and applications, so if you need manual scans of stuff, I'd be more than happy to contribute.

Hey Brume... you still looking for Grand Prix?

I just finished imaging the disks :) 5 single sided ones according to Makedisk.

Gimme a shout if you're still wanting them :)

--edit--
Checked the images (really should have named the disks a bit better ;) )
it's Microprose's Grand Prix.. dunno if it's still of any use

Stuckie, thanks for your offer ;)
I have Microprose Formula One Grand Prix, too. That's not the game I'm looking for.
we have begun to re-do the missing list on Atari Legend. I have to make a serious verification on it while the week. Will post a message here as soon as it is ready.
Take care,
Brume.

How do you guys now which games are missing? I was searching for the german pd games Thriller, Shocker and Shocker 2 - Das Haus der Spiele since around 4 years now, I got them from someone a few months ago, but those are special versions from the "4U PD-Series", I could upload those to the atari legends ftp if someone wants them, and if someone has the original versions I would be very happy if you could upload those.

The games need Books like the old Oxyd games so you can play only the first 10 or 22 levels (not sure how much exactly) unless someone cracks the games, but I have the books so its no prob. for me.

Hi MetalSnake, i would like to see the games uploaded :) . And, if possible, can you scan the book?
I hope to find the time for scanning the Oxyd-book and upload it as pdf-file.
If i find the original version of your requested games, i'll let you know.

Scan the books will be quite hard as I don´t have a scanner, and the book of Shocker 2 has a black font on dark grey background. And about Oxyd I have only the Per. Oxyd book which wasn´t released on Atari I think and it might be even harder to scan as Shocker 2 book because it has many different variants of some colours for example one site it blue, every cell has a different variant of blue and the font in it is blue too, sometimes its even hard to read the original. But I will see what I can do.

edit: Uploading the files now to the Atarilegend ftp.
The files are called,
4U_007.ZIP (contains Shocker)
4U_053.ZIP (contains Shocker 2)
4U_055.ZIP (contains Thriller NT)
K_7013.ZIP (contains Shocker too, don´t know if it´s a different version or something)

I know the book, really hard to copy. I once made a complete copy of it, not all fields were readable, but that's no problem, because everytime you enter a field, the values change.

Please tell me if you (or anybody else) like the games, if not it would be a waste of time to search someone with a scanner and then scan the 2 books.

Oxyd

Postby ICS » Thu Aug 19, 2004 12:01 am

Hi!

There were cracked versions of Oxyd.
Not that I remember cracked versions of Shocker though.
Also the Spacola codes were never typed down, although there is a project running by a guy who scanned the book finally.

OK, I noticed Manhatten Racers (could be Manhatten Chasers) isn't on the list... does that mean someone has it?

(Really really *REALLY* bad Outrun clone)

Hello CJ,
Well, I don't know the game you mention. I have made a search, but haven't found any information about it. Can't it be Moonshine Racers or something like that?
Has someone else ever seen this game? Let me know, and I'll add it to the wanted list.
Thanks,
Brume.

Nope, not Moonshine Racers

Definatly exists because I had a copy of it - it was a VERY VERY early ST game.

Willy the Kid' is probably 'Billy the Kid' from Ocean in 1991, at least that would be my guess. Here is an ad for the game:

Also, Conan the Cimmerian is missing from the list. A title from Virgin, most likely 1992. http://www.clelsplace.com/eli/AtariST.htm lists as having it in stock, but he won't get it for you cause it is in his 'warehouse.' The author of the game confirmed its release, but does not have any copies.[/img]

Update? If I can ever get into it again, or maybe I'll move it! :)

Ah yes, you' right: I didn't put Conan in the list. Thanks. Please don't tell that to our mate cb, or he'll hate me forever (he really wants this game) ;)

About Willy the kid: not sure it was the same game as Billy the kid. Also the publisher is kingsoft. This tile comes from Alex/ICS. Alex: do you have an ad of the game or a preview? I don't have any.

Thanks to everyone,

Brume.

Willy the Kid -> Kingsoft

Postby ICS » Fri Dec 03, 2004 12:56 am

Yop Bruno!

Nope, I have no further info about this game.
It was put on the old "wanted" list by McLaser.
I think he saw it in a computer mag.
Dunno if it was an advertising or a test.

Cheers.

Regarding "Willy the Kid": it is definitely by Kingsoft and it was definitely released (1986 or 1987) as I had it once - but lost it :-(

Centurion - Defender of Rome

Postby Captain Chaos » Sat Dec 25, 2004 4:21 pm

Centurion - Defender of Rome

Wondering if this game ever made it onto the AtariST.
It was available for Amiga, PC and Sega Megadrive.

The reason I ask is I noticed this ad on the Hall of Light Amiga Database, scroll to the bottom of the page.

http://hol.abime.net/?id=2965

And I have also found docs on one of the ST compacts.

@Mods: If this post doesn't belong in this thread please feel free to delete it.

Well, this game has been never published on Atari ST (probably). But i added it to the missing listing, according to AL policy.
Thanks ;)
