Looking for Global Commander (Atari ST)

Postby ehmbe » Sun Dec 17, 2006 3:13 am

I tried planetemu, disk detective, atari legends, google and can't find a copy to download.
If someone has a copy and would like to e-mail it: michal_52@hotmail.com

Thanks!

I cant find it either. Began to think it was not made for the ST. Then I found this site that is selling it new in box.

This is a most interesting missing game here...
Seems the menu groups missed it as well, although the ST disk detective doesn't list all the menus yet...
I have seen many entries for it on google, most point to E-Bay, many point to the Amiga.
In fact, the Amiga version is on Planetemu..... :? not that this helps of course ;)

You could just play the european version The Armageddon Man, I'm sure that will be easy enough to find.

Yep, it's on Automation 132.

Didn't realise they were the same game.

If you like that one, try Conflict Europe on Automation 204 as well. :)

Cool! I had no idea it went under as The Armageddon Man and so my search is over. Thank you for all the suggestions.
Conflict Europe is also one of my favs on ST.

I was just playing 'Armageddon Man' and saw this:

Detracts from the realism a bit.. ;)

How times have changed :)

Back when that game was released, the USA was probably supplying their arms hence the "good feeback" :)
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Ha Ha! Yeah, but they must not have been very good, because most all arms found in the area are of Russian manufacture now.
