FS: motorola mc68hc11 handyboard (brand new)

Postby legacy » Mon Dec 16, 2019 1:29 pm

hi guys
I have two units, one is for me, the other can go to a new home. It's a brand new "handyboard" kit, with its original CD rom and software, and it also includes a alphanumeric LCD and the downloading cable, and I can also provide a C compiler for Windows.

If you are interested, please contact me in private.

Thanks :D

yup, talking about the "serial bootstrap" protocol: it's a firmware included in the built-in ROM, and the download software is not complex, it can be written in python, or C, in a couple of hours :D

Yeah wrote mine pretty fast back in the day even if doing stuff like that first time.In asm tho since used to it.Do remember that could not find a crosscompiler for hc11 on ST,was a bit irritating having to have a pc aswell.

C compiler? Well .. it's still a problem. GCC removed the support for HC11 after gcc-v3.4.6. Anyway, I got it working, and I have also bought a copy of Icc11 for Windows-XP. There was also the excellet Avocet C11, but it was very expensive.

I have a copy, found "installed" (so I don't have any media) in a second hand laptop bought on eBay.

The Handyboard's CD comes with a software called "Iteractive C".
