Falcon (not working)

Postby damanloox » Sat Feb 02, 2019 5:53 pm

I've a Falcon that's not working (I've no time to try fixing it - I did some basic troubleshooting but no luck, perhaps somebody more experienced and with proper tools can fix it - there's a topic on the troubleshooting I did somewhere in "professionals" section of this forum)... Anyway - the case and keyboard are in great shape - no scratches, damage etc. It's UK version. Comes with 4 MB ram and VGA adapter.
600 500 Euro plus shipping (I'm in Ireland)...

I've 2 year old daughter - I just don't have time for this.
Plus - I live in Ireland. I don't know anybody who I trust to fix it (or even touch it). And shipping it to Germany/Poland/Slovakia and back would be very (and I mean very) expensive.

Not sure what you mean by "very" but if a nice looking Falcon goes for about 1000 EUR and shipping goes for about 40-60 EUR, depending on the class, I would say it is still a good investment. ;-)

Well, depending on what's wrong with it the repair may be costly. Replacing custom chips cost a fortune nowadays. So shipping back and forth + paying whoever for the time spent on the repairs + parts may very well end up being 300-400 EUR.
