Wanted: Dead or dying TT030 systemboard

I will desolder all the components and have the board scanned, probably by Gardien, the scans will be made public.

Responses by PM would be fantastic.

Please only respond if you are willing to ship just the mainboard to Australia (the case, peripherals and PSU just add tons of cost to the shipping).

You can still get bare unpopulated TT boards from Best Electronics according to their website -- might be easier than desoldering a dead oneĀ¬

Maybe try Frank Lucas if he gives up with that rusted TT board hes trying to fix ATM.

I think some thought must be given as to what revision you want to have scanned.

I guess it depends on what exactly is the end goal with scanning?

If the point is to perhaps manufacture the motherboard at some point then ideally you need schematics to support this. This rules out the C302406-001 FAB.

Although scanning a C302406-001 would provide much needed information of the changes since REV D but would require a lot of work.

Then you must weigh the options of PGA vs SMD, component availability, etc.

Cool, if I get both then I will have both scanned. I would be more interested in the older version with more through hole.
