I think it's the IDEal interface.

I fitted it when I was at Uni in 1998 so I might be wrong!

How easy is STOS to get into? I'm looking to do some homebrew stuff as a hobby and I am pretty handy at Actionscript and Lingo, as well as having done some C and C++ many moons ago - I rather like the idea of creating something along the lines of a Monkey Island and if I could tinker away on an ST/STE (or ideally a Falcon if I can ever find one!), it would have the added bonus taking me back to my second adolescence!

If it's something that's easy to get into, I'd be interested in this!

Post your query in the STOS user group section of this forum and they're bound to lend you a hand. There's also the STOS website (unofficial, of course!) at http://stos.atari.st
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Hi Charles,

The books and software are still available.
I'll rehost the pictures somewhere else and post another reply.

I don't think I'll want much for it.
Cost of postage + a bit for my troubles!

I'll see how much it'll cost to post to Canada and get back to you.

£10 + p&p ?

I'll need to see how much it weighs so I can work out the postage.
Are you in the UK?
Paypal is fine (although a balance transfer would be better).

I'll post another message later once I've sorted the postage out.

Sounds good to me - I'm in Bedfordshire - mk45 2eh, to be precise. If you're with NatWest, I could pay cash in to your account, but being out in the sticks means it's a pain to get to a bank/building society, I'm afraid...

According to my kitchen scales, the STOS manual + disks and games makers manual weight 2lb 12.5oz (1.26kg).
According to royalmail.com, First class post would be £5 and standard parcels would cost £4.20.

Does £15 including P+P sound OK?

Let me know.

I've still got these games and some of the books left.
Moving house soon so selling them would be good!

Considering selling my Atari Jaguar and games (Tempest 2000, Doom, Powerdrive rally, Super burnout etc) too if anyone is interested?

I might close this thread and start a new one with full details (and pics that work).
