Cool list, thanks for compiling it :)

I have one suggestion to the CPC section: http://www.cpczone.net/index.php

It's an excellent resource for Amstrad games.

I would like to add Denial to the list -- this is a community for the Commodore VIC-20.

http://www.sleepingelephant.com/denial

You should also add VICE to the list. This is a multi-system C= emulator that emulates the PET, the VIC-20, the C64, the C128 and some others that I can't remember offhand.

http://www.viceteam.org

I forgot to mention that the Lemon forums are missing as well. The lads on Denial are aghast at the lack of C= resources on your list :).

They're just in Denial.. :P

This is exactly what I need though - I never used any Commodore machines growing up, so I've only posted what I've found (So far).

Finally finished integrating Coy's links into the main list... 8O
(Cheers buddy! :D ).

Re-categorized a bit of the Misc. section as there were a few trends building up in there (Remakes & Abandonware mainly)

Anyone got a list of all the FTPs on here so I can fill up that part of the ST section?

Well, that would be nice, but I'll have to see how it goes.. I put it in the chat forum as it's non-ST specific (although there is a lot of ST stuff cropping up in there now). I also feel like I should be adding the ST stuff into the Atari Forum Wiki as well, as they've been nice enough to sticky the topic for me..

I see you don't like the A8 (atari 8bit) Grunaki...You seem to have left it off your ginormous list (OP)

Here's some

Vjetnam (fairly extensive a8 games for download...and emulators as well)

Atari ++ (one of 2 regularly maintained atari 8bit/5200 emu's) there is a version that has limited support for the polish VBXE gfx upgrade

Altirra/Altira (the only other regularly maintained atari 8bit/5200 emu's) there is a version that has limited support for the polish VBXE gfx upgrade

atari.fandal.cz, like atarimania, full of games (mostly in.xex/exe format) and demo's as well as emulators

http://www.mushca.com/f/atari/index.php new site for the only maintained atari menu collection site (over 350 disks with nearly 3000 unique games (classic and well as recent euro releases, demo's, pcs files and boulderdash clones screens as well as PD)

atariarea (mainly polish atari site and forums, a good place to find out the latest A8 related software based hardware tricks in ML or assembler)

Acorn Archimedes in the 16 bit computer section ?
Holly cow ! Or how to start a Sunday bursting out laughing.

The most important initiative on the Archimedes, as far as games are concerned, is lead by Jonathan Abbott.
He started the Acorn Archimedes Software Preservation Project.

So far he's been working on games, and wrote ADFFS.

His site is here :
http://forums.jaspp.org.uk:9000/forum/

He got signed agreements from games rights holders to release them, and he's in the process of having them running on ALL RISC OS systems (from the Archimedes to the latest N core ARM boards, and it includes the Pi but many more machines since, basically, there's been 1 new machine running RISC OS since 1987), from RISC OS 3.1 to the latest RISC OS 5.xx

Awesome job, lots of interesting infos to read on his site.

Examples of Archimedes games running on the Raspberry Pi on YouTube here :

Ah ah

You should, please, add the link to the StarFighter3000 web site.
The game is now free to download, and it's probably the best 3D game available for the Archies.
It's hosted on Acorn Arcade, but it's got its own pages.

There's been some interviews of the author (who also coded Chocks Away and StuntRacer2000), they are available on YouTube.
