What a dumb waste of a gold.

Although, I can't foresee them actually giving out physical emmy awards to an inanimate object. Who really gets the award? Atari isn't exactly going to step on stage, let alone anyone who had anything to do with the L*nx.

I think therefore Muguk should get it, as he is the closest thing to atari there is, and he lives in an 80s, 90s computer shop
No really, he does 8O

Hahahahaha .. what's wrong with having the odd console here and there along with a few (!) Atari ST originals :)
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

If the forum engine was written in speccy basic then I bet words like "stop" and "new" would be forbidden 8O
Imagine that    :|

As mentioned elsewhere in this forum the word you're trying to type is recognised as some kind of keyword relative to the actual software that this forum is written in - so the software bans it's use.

We should have an emoticon of the word "L y n x" that we can use instead of typing it out.

I wonder if someone sets up a L*nx-website (console or actual animal) and wants to use forum like this... How they solve the problem?

They'd code an exception of some sort. I assume this is possible.

Sounds like it filters every word to make sure it's not an executable in the /usr/bin or something (not every executable in the system path, since we can write 'ls' and 'if', etc).

Lynx will be there since it's one of those head-wrecking text-mode web browsers :P

Looks like the word Lynx is OK since the forum upgrade. I couldn't have it in my Signature before either and now I can :)
