I've got a stand-alone crack of it as well but I forget who it was cracked by. Thats assuming it had any protection in the first place, it may just be a copy.

I had the original back in the day. I seem to remember that it could easily be copied with a copier program like A-Copy or ProCopy.

It had a manual code-word protection system too though.

I enjoyed it, but it was very difficult to get the hang of piloting the craft and if you didn't play it for a while it was hard to get back into the 'swing' of the game.

You could play 2-player with a lap-link cable and 2 STs though. (That was fun! :) )

I don't know if I can name 10, but here is my top 5:

1. Sundog
2. Starglider
3. Sundog
4. Silent Service
5. Sundog

What? Sundog somehow got three mentions in the top 5? Oh well... it deserves it. It's hands down the best game I ever played on the ST - or for any computer system for that matter. Even after 20 years, it still is an amazing game. I doubt 20 years from now today's games will be played and admired with such reverence.

My top 10 ST games:

1. Head Over Heels - it's a perfect reproduction of the original Speccy/CPC version but with added colour!

2. Bomb Jack - I like this version, even though the ST and Amiga versions are not very popular

3. Gauntlet II - arcade perfect, I can't say anything else!

4. Lotus Turbo Challenge II - excellent racing game. Just as good as the Amiga version

5. Final Fight - excellent game, shame about the loading in between scenes

6. Rainbow Islands - perfect platformer

7. Parasol Stars - another perfect platformer

8. Sensible Soccer

9. Another World - very impressive!!!

10. pratting around with STOS - I still like to make useless, crappy little mini-games with STOS even now
