The dispatch of informations on A.L. game page layout is then quite confusing, indeed. ;P

@Brume, yes I found some royalty-free sheet music by Maarten Smit. The three in-game tunes are separate cut-out portions of the same song.

@dma, I noticed the death bug in the YouTube video. It's been fixed in version 1.0.1.

Ah, properly losing a life or ending the game on this event now. Less forgiving gameplay. ;)

I notice that if you're already sliding a coin block across the screen you can't break or move any other coin blocks whilst that's happening. Don't know if that's intentional but if you're sliding a block over a large chunk of screen it's a bit annoying that you can't break blocks that are close to you until that block has finished sliding.

I also spotted the ST's keyclick isn't disabled, just need to clear bit 0 at address $484 somewhere early on in the code to do that. (not a big deal though!)

Beat Level 16 and got the congrats screen and looped the game :)

How do I do that? I get a bus error if I try to directly read or write to address $484.

Should just be a question of doing "bclr.b #0,$484" somewhere once you're in supervisor mode.

Interesting. I've never had to use supervisor mode on the ST before. Might as well add keyboard controls while I'm at it.

The game can now be operated with SPACE and the WASD keys. I'm going to update the zip archives in this thread to version 1.0.2.

If you at making changes, can you change disabling sound to S? Sometimes, I will press the fire button by mistake and shut off the sound.

I do not know if you can also add a key (Esc) to exit the game and go back to the desktop.

If that is not possible, that is ok. I have enjoyed playing your game. The graphics and music are quite good.

There's probably a trap to accomplish that aswell, The Atari Compendium is the bible, I assume you have it? Otherwise you can get it at https://www.dev-docs.org/docs/

On the ST, you need supervisor mode to access the lower $800 bytes or the hardware registers (not entirely sure that all are 'protected', but most are).

Nice game on Hatari. But crashes on real hardware (STF, STE, TT) also under STEEM after the intro.

Which version are you using? The first version had a problem with 4MB of RAM. From other comments, it appears to be working on actual hardware.

more precisely, it crashes as soon as the first move.

STF 1MB TOS 1.00 Ger, MegaSTE 4MB TOS 2.06 Ger, TT a lot MB TOS 3.06 Ger.

Nice game! Walking animation is so fun.

It was a bit unexpected for the level to end when the last coin was only freed, not collected.

Thanks for all your hard work bringing a new title to the Atari ST platform

If you have any time I'd really like to read about the development, Why the Atari ST? What tools did you use? Language program in STOS? C? ASM? Any libraries (e.g. AGT) How long did it take etc. Very interesting.
