I liked the differences, there are many others throughout... But this is a remake based on the originals after all. Not a direct conversion. ?

Nice!
Some versions had extra-levels (Oric version for instance), will you go for the standard version or for the extended one? ;)

Hi viking272
i am glad you enjoy it :D
yes the game is damn hard, i think i have to make a cheat mode, that all can enabled.
when testing some of the maps i just had to keep adding life :)
i have also been thinking adding, that if you cheat and add and extra life it would cost let say 1000 points.
so the more you buy the harder it would be to get first place on the high score.

Skylab, Warehouse and Solar are the levels I cannot do (most days lol)... The Bank and Mutant Telephones I can complete, but only on a good day!

So I managed to hit 25000 points now , so making good progress.
I noticed on level 2 when you drop into the exit door, Willy appears to stay outside of the door, but all other levels the door masks his body if that makes sense.

Also I found on the Kong levels when you jump to flick the switches, there is a flicker in the top half of the border. It might be deliberate but it feels a little funny, maybe its not needed.

Really enjoying this game though!!

Thanks again :)

you are welcome and thank you for using your time and effort, helping me out :D

:o 25000 yes that is good, what level is that?, i can't do that with out cheat , does it still feel like the spectrum on those levels, or did you have to change the route (if you can remember the old route)
it look like that i have to get the solar beam finish, with the speed you are going through the game

the flickering is some left over that i have been to lazy to removed, (color change) should be gone now

i know about the level 2, it is on purpose, there are 3 level where willy is on the out side of the exit, the cold room, the bank and the, final barrier.
it is because the exit opens op, i thought it would be a good idea, but on the cool room i am not sure anymore, do to if you jumping from the top, it look kind of weird so maybe i will remove it from the cold room.

on the final barrier it will make sense when you get through the level (but please don't tell what happen when you get through the game  )

but i am really glad that you enjoy the game :D

Well I did cheat a little... But this is why I would like the v1 release to only have the two lives.
I think you get an extra life at 10 000 points?

Anyway once I go through a level I usually remember it after a few go's. I did spend a lot of time on Manic Miner when I was about 12!

Thanks for the feedback on my comments, whichever way its left I'm fine with generally, I just mention stuff I notice...

I guess I can hold off pressing the X key with a little self control!

The game plays very similar to the Spectrum version, so this why I'm becoming a little addicted!

I'm also thinking at Christmas I will get the real STE setup on a big screen :)
