Which games see the best speedups when running on a Mega STe?

Mostly 3d games. But most are improved. For example shoot em ups that dont slow down.

And dbug. Some games that really benefit from faster CPU are:

Quartz, Dragonbreed, Plutos, Wonderboy in Monsterland, Frantick, Erik, Navy Seals, R-Type II

On a related note, Jim Power runs at 60 fps on the TT!

I think it does that on falcon too. At least it is too fast to be playable

The websites already mentioned, plus PPs too of course. Hunter is my fave at 16mhz. I can't play this at 8mhz anymore. I'm spoiled heh

I should clarify something. I didn't mean games that could use the cache. I actually meant games that improve framerate wise if it has been enabled.
Eg going from 3 vbl to two etc. :)

Maybe it is easiest to try with Petari pathed games since you can switch 8/16mhz and cache on/off in every game, just press M for this option screen.

I think thar SaintDragon runs smoother on MSTe...

Yeah, PP/Petera is the best place to start. Try almost any flight sim. I second DarkLord too, gotta love Frontier on my MSTE :)

Midi Maze II profits a lot of faster STs. It makes much more fun if there is no 8 Mhz machine in the ring.
Power without the Price. It's not a bug. It's a feature. _/|\_ATARI
