Proud Moment

Postby English Invader » Tue Nov 06, 2012 11:50 am

I've just managed to get past the impossibly hard first level of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (Cross of Coronado). I've been playing the game on and off since I was ten and twenty one years later I finally managed it.

Ah yeah congrats !

Replaying a game you've put aside for a long while and finally progressing further in it (thanks to improved video-games skills acquired in between), is indeed a great feeling. :)

This was one of the games that came with my STE (In the Turbo Pack) back when I was about 8. It took me a few weeks(or months) to get past the first level, but once I did I managed to complete the game several times. The later levels are easier, except the final level which relies on quite a bit of luck.

I did the same thing with 'The Wild Bunch' on the Speccy (emulator).

Cheers. I'll buy you a pint of Greenall's ;)

I remember that I once did beat the first level. I tried a lot of times and failed. I still like this game as well. It encourages me to try again someday. I always wanted to see the later levels.
