Help me remember a game title

Postby mjspiegel » Sun May 13, 2012 12:06 am

Hello,

I am trying to remember an Atari ST game that I loved as a kid. A quick description is that is played the Mission Impossible theme during the game play. It was a vertical car chase type of game that looked a lot like Road Fighter in the following link:

http://www.mamedb.com/game/roadf

I seem to remember a red car that was always being hit into by different color cars. At the end of each level think I remember having to drive into a tractor trailer (or maybe when you died you were released by a tractor trailer). In the second or third level turned from a car chase to a boat chase. I hope this is enough description.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Super Stuntman springs to mind? I can't remember the in ame music, but it certainly starts in a car and then moves onto a speed boat in level 2.

The tears are welling in my eyes again, I need twenty big buckets to catch them in, twenty pretty girls to carry them down, twenty deep holes to bury them in.

The Car to boat and trailer section sound very much like the spy who loved me

Spy Hunter was an arcade game from 1983, which got an official conversion on the 8-bit platforms.. Major Motion was an unofficial version made for the ST & Amiga by Microdeal.

Although, when you say a red car, you might be talking about Action Fighter. (You start as a motorbike, but become a car, and I think a boat later.)

Wow! You folks rock! Major Motion is exactly what it is! My memory was not completely accurate, but apparently close enough.

Thanks!

Joystick version only please :P I was always disappointed by this ST version. I loved it on the Amiga of a friend but the ST version always left a disappointment on my end....
