Small Site Update - STampede

Postby Richard » Sun Feb 05, 2006 6:42 pm

Hi everyone!

Just to let anyone whos interested know.... I have finally updated
my STampede disk magazine tribute page.

I have added some new screenshots... but most importantly I have
created pasti images of all 7 issued (14 disks) for use with STeem etc.

The images are freely downloadable from my website.

I havent 100% tested the links/downloads, so if you spot something a
bit wrong then let me know!

Enjoy!

Richard.

Awesome! A great trip down memory lane, thanks a lot! I love the editorial in the last issue claiming that they were supposed to put Robocop 2 (which was new out at the time) on the disk but so many people had requested Total Eclipse instead...yeah, right!

I remember my local branch of John Menzies had a boxed copy of STampede Issue 1 that came with a third disk; anyone remember that, or know what the extra disk was for? I think it sold for a little more than normal (£6.99 or something).

Dave.

Yeah .. Issue 3 and 4 will now have their Quartet tunes ripped out :)

Good work on the Pasti images sir!

Music by Sound Images on Issue 1 .. now I got a composer :)

Graphics by Rob Northern on screenshot of Issue 2???

Confirmation of CJ's thinking that Issue 3 & 4 were protected disks with the "rotection by Rob " on the scrolltext (Issue 3) and the large statement of it on screenshot of Issue 4. Explains why the .ST image previously released didn't work.

For those guys who want to practice their Rob Northen skills on Pasti images .. you just found manna from heaven :)

Hey guys,

Thanks for your nice comments! :D

I do hope to add some new & interesting stuff to me site soon.
Mainly some homebrew applications I have been writing, but I am
sure it should be of interest to a few of you.

Anyway enjoy the STampede images.

Richard.
