Thanks for the effort in the advent calendar so far. Some feedback:

Mindfighter: When started from medium resolution on TOS 1.62UK, 4Mb I see:
5dec_001.png

Rings of Zilfin: The inventory screen looks like this (TOS 1.62UK, 4Mb):
6dec_001.png

Ultima 5: When I click "acknowledgments" on the main menu, the game resets (TOS 1.62UK, 4Mb)

The December 10 release displays 3 bombs on my browser :(

Also, thanks for the source code dump, some really interesting stuff in there!

Here are the fixes for both Mindfighter and Rings of Zilfin: start them from low res and they run just fine. Crazy I know :)
I'll check the other one. Thanks for the bug report. :)

After checking Ultima V, it does show the credits if you setup Steem to 1 Mb. The game itself runs just fine even with 4 Mb. Also the credits part runs just fine on real hardware and as it seems you are eager to know who made the game, here you go :) (taken from a 14Mb Falcon):

It does for me aswell. However, I got the dec10.zip when I clicked the dec12.zip link before they fixed that, but the dec10 link is still broken.

FWIW here's the problem:

Someone is trying to copy data outside the RAM. This "works" in <4Mb systems because this will not produce a bus error, it'll just write over the installed RAM (which will be more or less amount to nothing).

It's probably not too hard to fix this, but at the very least I would suggest checking RAM in your intro and warn people about this (or refuse to run altogether), or ship the image with something like "make1024k.tos" (I forget the exact filename) which reconfigures the system for 1Mb of RAM.

@GGN: thanks. It will be fixed in the next update.
@Greenious: yes there are issues with the links. In the meantime:

EDIT: not in THE next update, in A next update. :)

Nice videos, with quality picture/sound and in depth content. Also nice room and video setups.

(not a fan of the typical YT style humour montage, but that's me)

New video released :

In this final part of episode 2 I'm showing a complete restauration/retrobrite of the PC1, talk about GEM on the system and the history of GEM and Gary KiLdall , present some classic dos games running on this PC and finally see if the system was a commercial success.
