Is there only one role playing game on my site yet? Hmmm, seems so. Ok, let's double that with a truly classic RPG title: have fun with The Bard's Tale.

Also many thanks to DarkLord, for lending me his band of supernatural warriors for testing purposes. :)

The tears are welling in my eyes again, I need twenty big buckets to catch them in, twenty pretty girls to carry them down, twenty deep holes to bury them in.

I don't know. They just take too much time for testing.

Hey, those guys can really pull their own weight - especially if its measured by the tankard, at any of the local
taverns!

Sorry to tell you that klapauzius.net is down again.
Please change your bookmarks to http://dbug.kicks-ass.net/klaz for the time being.

My monthly bandwidth on klapauzius.net has been reduced from 1.8GB to a meagre 300MB, hence the outages.
Sorry again for the troubles.

Following "The Temple of Doom", Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade was the 2nd action game for the ST based on George Lucas' and Steven Spielberg's famous movie series. Sadly the game doesn't do justice to the movie - but which game does. I hope you'll enjoy it anyway. :)

Thanks Klaz! You don't sound too enthusiastic but this game is better than one might think!
I was waiting for a HD patched version for a loooong time 8)

Ok, maybe I have made it sound worse than the game actually is. :)
I think the third level (on the Zeppelin) looks quite nice.

Shortly after releasing the game I found a little bug in the level skip trainer. If you press "L" to skip a level while standing in front of the six archways on the start of level 2, the game will hang. This is the same in the original (the level skip trainer was already part of the internal cheat mode). I'll fix this soon... :)

Here's a little game that I always enjoyed playing: Bubble Ghost. :)

This one took a bit longer to fix as I had expected because there had to be quite a lot of slowdowns to be patched in to keep it playable on fast machines.

Bubble Ghost equals classic for me, got it from a friend in the old days, one of his few good games that I didn't have.

Hey Klaz, just wanted to let you know that I've begun trying some of your
adapted games on my PAK equipped STacy.

Tried The Bards Tale this evening - was kinda itching to see the old gang in action
again, romping up and down (and below!) the streets of Skara Brae. :)

Apparently your Mega STe, Falcon, and CT60 patches sit well with the PAK at
32 and 40mhz as well. Game started up fine, loaded characters, played, kicked
some Orcish butt, visited a tavern, saved, then quit out - all to and from the
TOS 3.06 modified PAK desktop.

It's just awesome to do that without having to boot up at 8mhz, lo-res, and
from a floppy!

Hi DarkLord!

that's great to hear! :)

I must say though that there will be a few patched games that won't run well on your MegaStacy, or even not at all. Especially a few older fixes will be 'confused' by the combination of ST class machine + the 030 CPU.
If you notice any issues with any game, just tell me and I'll remedy that - should be easy to do. :)

Ok, off to fix a new (and very popular) game now! :coffe:

by new you mean 1996?

by popular you mean on which platform exactly ? I'd play Mario 3 if it was available...

Popular, as in: it's on most people's top ten list.

Lemmings has been added to the site. Don't download this if you intend to do something else than just sitting in front of your computer screen during the next couple of days.

That's why, with 30 years senority, I'm still on nights. I like it on nights, lots of Indians,
but not too many "Chiefs", if you catch my drift... :)
