Atari ST/Falcon/Jaguar book crowdfunding!

Postby nada-san » Wed Oct 17, 2018 9:31 am

Hi Atarians,

next retro book is coming: Return Of The Borders (The Atari ST and The Creative People vol.3). Plenty of stories to tell between 1994–2000! Actually still running at Indiegogo ... swing by :megaphone:

Hope we can make it again! Q&A here.

You managed to get in contact with Marc Rosocha? I really liked him. He's not replied to me for several years. It was his birthday just recently. I hope he's well.

Yes, for the first two books I was regularly in contact with him, as you can see in the books and the interviews. Actually the next book will cover his Eclipse story as a driving element. It’s just what makes it so interesting to write those books. His story is one important part which transports the DNA of the demo scene into the next century.

Thank you for questioning. Yes, will have a few. But the trilogy will be quite limited, because volume 1 is nearly sold out.

I loved the first two books and I cannot wait for the third book to arrive!

Difference is the first book and a chuck of the second was reminiscing, but by 1992 I had defected to Amiga and consoles, so missed out on everything that happens in ‘Return of the Borders’.

I finally managed to get a Falcon for a reasonable price a couple of years ago, so really looking forward to this volume!

Thanks again Marco for this incredible project.
