I started a new topic on this booster as not to confuse with other boosters in development..
I have been asked a few times about people wanting to buy the V1. I never actually finished assembling the first batch as did not expect many to sell. Though on my last PCB order (which came a few days ago) I tagged on some revised V1 booster PCBs. So I am currently building up a few (probably about 10 in total) to go back on sale.
The new board is functionally the same as the old one. Only I have fixed the 8/16mhz switch in relating to the blitter problems. So this new board people can just solder the switch to the jumper links on the board directly, and there shouldn't be any blitter issues. At least there isn't on my STFM with blitter which I tried today. 8/16mhz works fine.
Also, I am adding in a 100R resistor between the CPU clock pin and the booster clock out. Also I am recommending (and will supply) a 100R resistor to go in series with the 16mhz line. This should hopefully solve issues relating to the MEGA machines. I have also swapped the 74F series chips in favour for the ACT series as the F series seems to load the signals to much and does not give a solid 5V output. There isn't much difference between them, more so it should help with noisy MEGA machines than anything.
Anyone who wants to grab one of these boosters, please reserve one by ordering from my website. It may be a couple of weeks before I finish them as I have a whole lot of site updates to do relating to new kits which I am doing. http://www.exxoshost.co.uk/atari/last/store.htm
Many thanks to everyone who has been ordering items from my store of the past couple of weeks. Your support is greatly appreciated
