Welcome Back!

Postby Dal » Fri Sep 12, 2014 1:55 pm

Hi All,

AF has now been relocated onto a Virtual Private server along with AtariLegend and of course the Wiki.

The wiki now has its own dedicated url: http://www.atari-wiki.com. This should allow it to be better indexed by search engines. The old urls have been maintained and will simply perform a 301 redirect to the new url.
I have a problem with thumbnail images on the Wiki - should be fixed soon though...

I've performed some basic tests like posting and uploading files but as ever, if you spot anything weird, please let me know

Great ! Faster than ever on old host.
Only one thing is missing: recent posts section :D
Famous Schrodinger's cat hypothetical experiment says that cat is dead or alive until we open box and see condition of poor animal, which deserved better logic. Cat is always in some certain state - regardless from is observer able or not to see what the state is.

DB backup was done yesterday by Silver Surfer. We kept the board disabled during this time. So everything should be here. I can take a look at the old site for you if it's that important?

A unaccelerated STE is actually pretty snappy. It felt more like an MS-DOS box with a 5.25" floppy.

I was shocked when I hit the page today, like bam! Knew right then something had changed.
Cheers to the speedy recovery!
