sceptikal private message,emails from forum

hi , i am unable to recieve private messages by using this forum
and i am unable to recieve emails using this forum ,

i would like this corrected bacause i hear so far that i am the only one having these troubles

posting here is only option , i tried alerting the moderators but no action taken.

what is our situation?

I *have* been in touch with Silver Surfer on your behalf. As yet he's not had time to look at the problem.

Works fine for me. Do a simple test and send a PM to yourself. I just did that and all is well on my end. If it works, then there is no need to bother poor Mug, he's got enough to do as it is.

i began doing the simple test thing about a month ago with a pm
just thought they weren't going thru

now recentily i noticed it kinda quite.. like really quite so i tried a email

after all that , this is what prompted me to write the mods , and then after not hearing from them i write in here to see what others sistuation is like

I've looked at your profile and compared it against any other 'normal' (i.e. non-moderator) user and I can't see what's different about your account.

Is the account full (i.e. your Inbox is over-flowing)?
