Not fair .. just bought Thrust Advance coz of that link!
Having sold 99.9% of my 1300+ collection of originals, I'm taking a bit of a back seat on the forum. I'll still do the front-of-house admin tasks as and when they're required but, for now, I'm enjoying my Xbox 360 time too much :)

Sounds like a bet to me - YOU'RE ON! :)
Better bring plenty of Ketchup mate!

NOTE:
For those who are reading this now and don't get the joke, I temporarly changed my avatar to an actual picture of myself to foil the Evil Heavy Stylus and his plans to have a laugh at my expense
But then I got bored of the silly real pic of me and returned to my dignified professionsal look

We're hoping the bike will be back in one piece and roadworthy in time. Know of anyone coming from Leeds direction who could give us a lift in case it all falls apart?

8O first mad haircuts, now motorbikes!... why Zoe, you're a bit of a rebel on the sly, and I thought you were a nice girl, you old dark horse  :P
Is it per-chance a motorbike and sidecar?
Sadly I am of no help as a lift as I am the other side of Glossop to York, but if there are 100 or so people coming along then suuuuurely someone must be En-Route?? :)

Heh, the hairdos are temporary things that get woven in for the evening. I have a sensible hairdo most of the time.

Phew. Just finished cutting out all 100 sets of jewelcase inlays for RGCD03. The mag is complete, so now I've just got to burn and label the CDs in time for next weekend...

With 29 game reviews, six extra features and 27,000+ words, issue 3 is our biggest yet. And it's yours for free, fellow retroheads.

Without giving too much away, this issue features new releases for the AGA Amiga, Amstrad CPC, Atari 2600, Atari XE/XL, Commodore 64, MSX, Nintendo GBA and DS, Sinclair Spectrum and VIC20 - as well as the usual line-up of PC/Mac remakes and retro-style indie games. SirClive and I will be set up in the conservatory area, so don't be shy - come over and grab your free copy...

Apologies in advance for the lack of Atari ST(E) love this issue :( Obviously this is due to there being no new releases (again)... But.. does *someone* [looks at Mug and RG] fancy writing a product review for the Satandisk (now its being shipped) for issue 4?

Don't look at me, I don't even have one
Mug is your best bet, not only does he have one, he uses it a lot...
Yup, what he doesn't know about it isn't worth knowing :)

Looks like I am ok for next Sat, should be arriving shortly after opening, see you all there then 8)

Me and my DVD camcorder will be there :)

I'll sort out a review of the SatanDisk .. about time I did an article as not done one for years and years (other than the waffle on my blog)

Someone else's photos - a mate of mine from RetroPassion who's also a yokel but was on "pick up duty" for two others from Glossop train station.

Well me and my mate sure did, just a shame we had to head off back so soon but then my mate was driving so I blame him entirely :)
Was a very good venue, the variety of machines to use was excellent, the atmosphere was great, was cool to meet an amazed (at my lack of likeness to my avatar) Stylus for the first time, and always a pleasure to meet up with Zoe and Mug (ish), but the main bonus was that there were no Llamasofties in site :D
What else can I say? - another great retro-geek party
I look forward to the next one and hope I can manage a full day next time
If there is one in your area its definitely worth a look.
