UltraSatan: HDDriver not finding SD card after removing/inserting it [SOLVED!]

Postby dhedberg » Sun May 19, 2019 4:02 am

I'm probably just being stupid, but I can't figure out what to do to make HDDriver/TOS find the partition on a removable SD card (UltraSatan) after I've removed the SD-card and inserted it again. I have to reboot the computer to access the partition again. Is it not possible to hot-swap?

I'm using HDDriver 10.15 on a TT030.

Thanks,
Daniel

Finally figured it out. On my SD cards in the UltraSatan I have only one partition for each card, and because of this I set the number of drive IDs to reserve for Removable Media/Memory Cards in HDDriver to 1. Then it hit me, I also installed 2 CF-cards in the TT, and they have 5 partitions each. I checked the Device Information for the devices and they also of course report themselves as removable media. So, I changed the number of reserved IDs to 5 and voila! Hot-swapping the SD-cards now works! TOS properly finds the partitions on the SD-cards when inserted again!
