I have my Smally Maus Adapter and it works great with my LogiTech M185 Wireless USB Mouse but it is a pity that the Wheel is not supported ...

No, it's not possible. This adapter - and any other adapter that connects to the mouse port - can only support the same features as Atari mice. To support wheel etc you must be able to generate the new IKBD packets for this, only an IKBD device like Eiffel can do that.

In that case you have to use both an additional port on your Atari AND a driver. Yes, it will work but... A much better solution is to make the mouse adapter an IKBD device that connects between the computer and keyboard.
